4. Precautions and warnings:

Capacitors shall not be used in cases where the indentation exceeds 1 millimeter, or any other mechanical damage occurs.
To ensure the full functionality of the overpressure isolation switch, the elastic components must not be obstructed, and a minimum distance of 25 millimeters must be maintained above each capacitor.
Do not touch the capacitor before discharging.
In any case, resonance must be avoided through appropriate design schemes.
Be careful when handling capacitors, as they may still be charged even after being disconnected due to a discharge device malfunction.
Properly protect capacitors to prevent overcurrent and short circuits.
If warnings are not followed, it may lead to premature failures, explosions, and fires

5. Discharge:

Before using capacitors, make sure to discharge and short-circuit the capacitors!

The capacitor must be discharged to below 10% of the rated voltage before switching. This prevents electric pulse discharge in the application, which affects the service life of the capacitor. To prevent electric shock, the capacitor must be discharged to 75V or below within 3 minutes. There shall be no switches, fuses or any other disconnecting devices in the circuit between the power capacitor and the discharge device.

6. Service life:

Electrical components do not have an infinite lifespan, which also applies to self-healing capacitors. The maximum service life may vary depending on the application of the capacitor.

7. Safety:

Electrical or mechanical misuse of capacitors can be dangerous. Due to mechanical damage to capacitors, it may cause personal injury or property damage, or due to the discharge of oil or melted materials.
Ensure that the capacitor casing is well and effectively grounded.
Provide effective methods for disconnecting and insulating faulty components.
Capacitors, connecting busbars and cables, and other equipment terminals can also be energized.
Adhere to good engineering standards.

8. Heat load/overheating:
After installing the capacitor, it must be verified that it does not exceed the maximum hot spot temperature under extreme usage conditions.

9. Overcurrent and short circuit protection:

It is recommended to use current limiting fuses or molded case circuit breakers for short-circuit protection. The components and connecting cables for short-circuit protection must be able to withstand 1.5 times the rated current of the capacitor for a long time. The rated current value of the current limiting fuse should be 1.6 to 1.8 times the normal capacitor current.

10. Surge current limit:

When capacitors are connected to circuits or devices are switched, high amplitude and high-frequency transient overcurrent may occur. Transient overcurrent may be a surge current that is tens of times or greater than the rated current, but it is necessary to ensure that capacitors do not operate under the maximum parameter values specified by Imax (maximum current), Î (maximum peak current), and Î s (maximum surge current).

Imax: Maximum root mean square current during continuous operation.
Î: The maximum repetitive peak current that occurs during continuous operation, typically lasting in milliseconds.
Î s: Non repetitive peak current induced by switching or any other disturbance in the system, which is only allowed to last for a shorter period of time and appear a limited number of times than the basic cycle, usually with a duration of μ s and no more than 1000 times during the lifecycle.

11. Harmonic:
Harmonics are caused by the operation of some nonlinear electrical appliances, such as converters, electrical drives, welding machines, backup power sources, etc. in modern power electronics.
Ripple is composed of a series of sinusoidal currents and voltages with frequencies of 50Hz or multiples of 60Hz.
