1. General Provisions

1.1 This technical agreement is limited to Ordering and use of CY series thermal protectors.
1.2 This technical agreement sets forth the minimum technical requirements and does not specify all technical requirements and applicable standards. The seller shall provide high-quality products and corresponding services that meet the requirements of this technical agreement and the listed standards. Meet mandatory national standards related to safety, environmental protection, etc.
1.3 If the supplier does not explicitly raise any objections to the terms of this technical agreement in writing, the main products provided by the supplier shall fully meet the requirements of this technical agreement.
In case of any conflict between the standards used in this technical agreement and those used by the supplier, the higher standard shall prevail.

2. Technical requirements
2.1 Main current standards to be followed
GB14536.1-2008 "Household and Similar Electrical Automatic Controllers Part 1: General Requirements"
GB14536.3-2008 "Special Requirements for Thermal Protectors of Electric Motors"
2.2 Environmental conditions
2.2.1 Environmental temperature limit (disconnecting device): 0-55 ºC
2.2.2 Protection level Pollution status: IP00 normal
2.3 Engineering conditions
2.3.1 Product Usage
CY series thermal protector is a product with temperature sensing characteristics. The product has advanced structure, small size, sensitive action, large electric shock capacity, and long service life. It is widely used for overheat protection of fractional horsepower motors, electric heating appliances, fluorescent lamp ballasts, transformers, automotive motors, integrated circuits, and general electrical equipment;
2.3.2 Structure

2.3.3 Model and specification description
According to the customer's sample drawings.

2.3.4 Performance
2.3.4.1 Rated current: 1A-10A/250V
2.3.4.2 Operating temperature: 40 ºC -160 ºC with a tolerance of ± 5 ºC (see Appendix 1 for details).
2.3.4. 3 Tensile test of lead out wire: The lead out wire of the thermal protector should be able to withstand a tensile force greater than or equal to 50N for 1 minute without breaking or loosening.
2.3.4. 4 Insulation voltage:
a. The thermal protector should be able to withstand AC 660V, 50Hz between the wires after thermal disconnection, and undergo a 1-minute test without any breakdown or flashover phenomenon;
b. The terminal lead of the thermal protector and the surface of the insulation sleeve or the surface insulation type thermal protector shell can withstand AC 1500V, 50Hz for 1 minute without breakdown or flashover phenomenon;
2.3.4.5 Insulation resistance: Under normal conditions, the insulation resistance between the wire and the insulation sleeve is above 100M Ω. (The meter used is a DC500V insulation resistance meter)
2.3.4.6 Contact resistance: When the contact of the thermal protector is closed, the contact resistance should not exceed 50m Ω.
2.3.4.7 Heat resistance test: The product is placed in an environment of 150 ºC for 96 hours.
2.3.4.8 Moisture resistance test: The product is placed in an environment of 40 ºC and 95% relative humidity for 48 hours.
2.3.4.9 Thermal shock test: The product is placed alternately in an environment of 150 ºC and -20 ºC for 30 minutes each, for a total of 5 cycles.
2.3.4. 10 Vibration resistance test: The product can withstand an amplitude of 1.5mm, a frequency change of 10~55HZ, a scanning change period of 3~5 minutes, and vibration directions X, Y, and Z, with continuous vibration in each direction for 2 hours.
2.3.4. 11 Drop test: The product falls freely from a height of 200mm in all directions four times.
2.3.4.1.12 Compression resistance: Immerse the product in a sealed oil tank, apply a pressure of 2 Mpa and maintain it for 12 hours.
2.3.4.13.  After conducting tests 2.3.4.7, 2.3.4.8, 2.3.4.9, 2.3.4.10, 2.3.4.11, and 2.3.4.12, the following conditions should be met:
a. The temperature change of the action should be within ± 7 ºC of the initial value;
b. The contact resistance should be below 50m Ω;
C. The appearance should have no obvious deformation;
D. The wire has no cracking or damage;
e. The insulation voltage should meet the requirements of item 3.4;
f. The insulation resistance should meet the requirements of item 3.5.

2.3.4.5 Lifespan
Product lifespan>10000 cycles

2.3.4.6 Other matters:
6.1 The heating rate for action temperature detection should be controlled at 1 ºC/1min;
During use, the protector casing shall not withstand strong impact and compression forces;

2.3.4.7 Matters not covered or other requirements from the client shall be separately agreed upon.
